In india there are various  kind of chicken curries different part of india have different kind of chicken curries i am a food enthusiast i always eat chicken  curry in weekends with rice and roti so making a good chicken curry is something i learnt from my family so in  this blog simple chicken curry will be helpful for newbies i do not use fancy ingredients like tomato pureeorany time of cream so if  you are new you can easily make it the entire dish is slow cooked

Tomato puree
Corn starch
Curry powder/leaf
Any kind  of stock /broth

So  in this chicken  curry  above  ingredients  are not  used


TIPS TO MAKE BEST CHICKEN CURRY
1-You can use chopped onion and tomatoes here but you can also use puree choice is your
2-selection  of chicken
Here it is the  most  important part  comes  selection of chicken  you can use boneless chicken  or  you can use bone chicken in the bone chicken you do not need any thickener cut chicken  in all equal parts  use every part of chicken for making chicken like leg breast etc  choice is yours
3-whole spices
Whole spices also plays  a very important role in enhancing the taste of chicken curry basiclly i do temper with the whole spices like leaf cannamon cloves cardomen flavors that comes from  whole  spices  are much more  intence than  ground spices 
4- garam masala
It is the indian traditonal masala used for  enhance  the  flavor  and  taste  of chicken  curry these  are  indian   spices  blend  made  by dry  roasting spices  and  pounding them  so  for  chicken  curry you need  good  quality of garama  masala 
You can use homemade or any other  brand garam masala
If you do not have garam  masala   you can use use curry powder as a substitute  but curry powder  does not have same  aroma and  spice level as garam masala  powder
4(1)- taste enhancer and thickner
There  is no use thickner in the traditional  indian  recipe for enhancing the taste  you can  use  yogurt  coconut  nut paste etc
If  you dont have blender then except yogurt use

YOU CAN MAKE CHICKEN  CURRY CREAMY BY USING A LOT OF METHODS
LIKE ADDING THICK COCONUT MILK TOWARDS THE END
INGREDIENTS-
--½ KG CHICKEN OR 500 GRAM OR 1  POUND
-2TO3 tbsp oil
-1cup  onion  fine chopped
-1tbsp ginger garlic   paste
-½ cup tomators fine chopped and puree
-Salt as per requirement
-2or3 green chillies
-1 cup coconut milk
-2 tbsb coriander leaves
SPICE POWDER
1-1/4  TURMERIC  POWDER/HALDI
2-¾  RED CHILI POWDER OR SMOKED PAPRICA
3-GARAM MASALA  OR  CURRY POWDER
4-¾  CORIANDER  POWDER
5-WHOLE   SPICES(SKIP IF YOU DONT  HAVE
FOR TASTE
2 TO 3 Tbsp curd or yogurt or cashews or you can use poppy seeds
How to make recipe
Preparation
1-First heat oil indeep pan and add whatever  whole spices you have  like cardamons cloves dal chini bay leaf cinnamon fry them you get an aroma just for few minutes
2-now second step is add all the chopped onions  and  some chilies till the onions  turn deep golden in colour
3-now add  some ginger garlic paste and saute  till you will get a nice aroma it takes few minutes
4-now add the fine chopped tomatoes or tomato puree turmeric and salt as per requirement and cook until tomatoes become soft and mushy
5-now you can add some yogurt garam masala coriander powder or curry powder
6- on low heat cook it well  until mixture smells good and  raw smell goes away
7-now add chicken corriander or mint leaves fry till the chicken turns white or patle in colour it take few minutes
8-in another pot heat up some water most times toughen the chicken  so it is good  to use hot water

Hot water  is enough to make thick curry do not add too much water then chicken curry becomes runny  sometimes chicken also lets out lots of moisture so use  only  as needed
2- cook medium to low flame till the chicken is soft cooked  and curry turn thick
3-add some salt
4-if  you feel less flavors add some more garam masala
5-cover and cook it on a low flame  for 3 to 5 minutes when it completely cooked it will fall of bone easily
6-last cover and off the heat and serve with basmati rice roti naan  zeera rice and enjoy your delicious  meal
